EKU Social Work Day 2024

Empowering Social Workers                                                                 
Please join the EKU Department of Social Work from 8:00 am - 3:30 pm on Friday, February 23rd to kick-off Social Work Month. This year’s theme is Empowering Social Workers. Participants can earn up to 5 social work continuing education units (CEUs)* free-of-charge. Social Work Day Awards for the EKU Student Social Worker of the Year, EKU Notable Social Work Alumni, and EKU Affiliate Social Work Faculty will be presented to highlight the incredible work EKU social workers have accomplished.

*EKU Social Work Day CEUs are recognized as fulfilling continuing education requirements for social work licensure in Kentucky. Professionals outside of social work and/or social workers outside of the state must consult their own licensure boards to determine eligibility for credit. Attendees must submit their full name and complete a survey at the end the session to be eligible for a CEU.
