Please join the EKU Department of Social Work from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm on Friday, February 25th to kick-off Social Work Month. This year’s theme is The Time is Right for Social Work. Participants have the opportunity to earn up to 5 social work continuing education units (CEUs)* free-of-charge. Social Work Day Awards for the EKU Student Social Worker of the Year, EKU Notable Social Work Alumn, and EKU Affiliate Social Work Faculty will be presented to highlight the incredible work EKU social workers have accomplished. 9:30 am | Session I: Human Trafficking, Presented by Ms. Cassie Young, MSSW, CSW, Federal Bureau of Investigation, FBI Victim Specialist (2 SWK CEUs)

1:00 pm | Session II: Professional Ethics, Presented by Ms. Heather Brandenburg, EKU Training Resource Center (3 SWK CEUs)

*EKU Social Work Day CEUs are recognized as fulfilling continuing education requirements for social work licensure in Kentucky. Professionals outside of social work and/or social workers outside of the state must consult their own licensure boards to determine eligibility for credit. Attendees must submit their full name and complete a survey at the end the session to be eligible for a CEU.
